Un-secured credit cards are for people with less than perfect credit. When you get approved for an unsecured credit card or an unsecured line of credit, some of them starts to report your activities to one or more credit bureaus. These offers differ from "normal" credit cards mainly in the higher interest rate they charge or in the higher amount they asses your account in various fees. Note: Normal credit cards are not advertised as unsecured and you need to have a good credit rating to be able to get approved for such cards. Until then, choose a card from our unsecured credit card selection below.

No Credit or Bad Credit can hurt you
It will be more and more difficult to rent an apartment, buy a new card or even just to open a new checking account if you do not have a good credit history. Lenders charge people with no credit or poor credit a higher interest rate when financing a new car, a new home or just about anything. Sometimes they will even turn you down. Car dealers may charge you over 20% interest, while other people pay less than 5%. Banks run credit checks on new checking account applications, and if you have bad credit, you might not even be able to open a new checking account. This is the situation, where you need to plan ahead, and get a plan to attain a good credit rating*. One way to do it, is to start with a new credit card and pay your credit card balance on time. However, for people with no credit or bad credit, the options to get a new credit card are very limited. This is where we offer our help: Check out our selection of no credit/poor credit credit cards, and feel free to apply for the ones you like the most. There are some great cards even for people with no credit on this credit card site. See it yourself!
*If your primary goal is to have better credit, then choose from credit cards that report to at least one credit bureau.
